Those small, consumer-grade electric pickup trucks need not apply to this discussion.
50,000 EV buses is quite an achievement
BYD already produced more than 50,000 all-electric buses. The first K9 pure electric bus was produced in Changsha in 2010, just nine years ago.
The 50,000th was a K9UB 12-meter bus for Spain, which departed BYD’s Hangzhou testing facility on January 18.
EVgo increased the amount of dispensed electricity by 88%
EVgo said in its latest announcement that in 2018 it powered plug-in cars for more than 75 million miles (120.7 million km) and that the annual growth amounted to 88% over 2017.
