New silicon material improves uptake of lithium ions in anodes

By Charles Morris Dutch firm RGS has introduced a nano-porous silicon material called E-magy that’s designed to be used in the anodes of Li-ion batteries. The company claims its material can increase battery anode capacity by up to 50%.

Mission Statement

The Seattle Electric Vehicle Association is a non-profit, all volunteer association of electric vehicle owners and enthusiasts.

Our mission is to promote, the widespread adoption of electric vehicle through education, demonstration and advocacy.

SEVA is a registered 501(c) 3a and all donations are tax-deductible.
