Introductory Electricity for Electric Vehicles
Instructor: Chris Byrne
Wednesday - October 15th, 6:30 to 8:30pm
Location: South Seattle Community College
Class Fee: $29

Learn terms, components, and basic circuit design for DC electric vehicles. Learn how your electrical system impacts range, speed and efficiency.

AC Drives for Electric Vehicles
Instructor: Dan Bentler
Saturdays - October 18th and 25th, 2008 - 2 sessions - 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Location: South Seattle Community College
Class Fee: $75

Learn of the advantages and disadvantages of DC and AC motors. Gain valuable insight and knowledge of how AC drives work and how to apply to vehicles. Class will provide hands-on operating demonstration of a variable-frequency drive (VFD) and other electric motors. Class is co-sponsored by the Seattle Electric Vehicle Association.
