We have a New NW Electric Vehicle Charging Locations Google Map, also available at http://www.evcharging.org

Please add your name and location if you can provide charging for EVs, To add a location:

  • Follow the link below the map to View & Edit Larger Map
  • Search for the address you would like to add to the map.
  • Click on the Save to My Maps link within the bubble for the resulting search.
  • Select the default map named NW Electric Vehicle Charging Locations, and click Save.
  • In the description list a title for the location.
    • Explain if charging is available for free, a fee, or if a call is required.
    • Describe the type of charging available, 110, 220, AVCON, etc...
    • If possible provide a photo of the actual charging location.
  • You can also click on the edit button and then place new markers or edit your locations details.

These are new charging locations that have not yet been added to the above database. They may need additional information such as a street address before they can be added to the database...

  • If you are ever in Wenatchee , the community college has a couple of dedicated charging spots at their auto shop. WVC is also installing charging stations in their new parking lot in front of the new Allied Health building
  • Other Friday Harbor charges: Also the Port of Friday Harbor has two official electric vehicle charging spaces at the top of the steps to the upper parking lot right next to the Friday Harbor Yacht Club.
  • Edmonds charging: There is an available plug next to a disabled parking space in the back parking lot of my office in Edmonds at 512 Bell Street, which is available almost any time to SEVA members. 425-712-8318.
  • Seattle charging: There is an available plug in Wallingford at Bedrooms and More at 300 NE 4th St, 98105, which is available during there normal business hours. Visit Bedrooms and Morefor hours.
  • Other Seattle charges: The Downtown Seattle Public Library DOES have "unofficial" 110-v plugs: there are at least six plugs in the wall near several spaces. I can usually find a way to charge up there. I don't mind the parking rates as long as I can charge up.
  • I have also charged at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Seattle. Call ahead and building management will set up an extension cord. Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1113 SIXTH AVENUE SEATTLE, WA 98101 UNITED STATES Hotel Front Desk: 1-206-4641980
  • I have also charged at the Silver Cloud Inn, 1100 Broadway Seattle, WA 98122, 206.325.1400; Email: management@broadway.scinns.com. Call ahead and they will give you an "OK" to park near the door on the first floor of the parking garage next to a plug.
  • I've also charged up at downtown seattle Pyramid Ale HOuse: call ahead and they will save a spot out front that can be reached with an extension cord.Pyramid Alehouse, Brewery & Restaurant

  • Kent charging: There are 110-volt plugs near the motorcycle parking area of the King County Courthouse in Kent at the south end of the parking garage on levels one and two.
  • Metro Transit's five-story Eastgate Park-and-Ride garage has three 120V charging stations for electric cars.
  • Issaquah Highlands Park and Ride.
  • Seattle City Hall - 600 Fourth Ave, Underground Parking Garage. Entrance is on the North side of James Street between 4th and 5th Avenue, closer to 5th Ave. Garage is only open Monday thru Friday, ? hours ? They have an outside sign indicating an Electric Vehicle Charging Station.
  • Downtown Seattle public library - 1000 Fourth Ave, Seattle, WA 98104 206-386-4636
    • Hours: Mon - Thurs 10 am - 8 pm
    • Fri, Sat - 10 am - 6 pm
    • Sun: 12 pm - 6 pm
    • There are two electrical automobile charge stations in the garage each with 240 volt 32 amp outlets and an Avcon connector. No 110 volt outlets. Charging station is in South East corner of garage.
    • Rates are: 0 to 20 minutes - Free
    • 20 to 40 minutes - $3.00
    • 40 minutes to 1 hour - $5.00
    • 1 to 2 hours - $7.00
    • 2 to 3 hours - $10.00
    • 3 to 4 hours - $14.00
    • 4 to 5 hours - $18.00
    • 5 to 24 hours - $24.00
    • Also along the elevator shaft opposite the money window.
  • Benaroya Hall allows parking/charging for electric cars, too, if you stop to visit with the engineer. But the current only comes in at 5 amps. Parking spaces # B12, B177 and B206 have 110 volt, 15 Amp outlets near them. All on lower (B) parking level. Parking costs $2.00 per 2 hours. Also on A level next to the west elevator.
  • Issaquah Costco - Small Paddle Inductive (SPI) charger
  • The Snohomish County Building parking garage in Everett has three or six 120 outlets per floor on three or four floors, along the elevator ways and stairways or in the corners.
  • Friday Harbor at The Sustainable Technology Center, 640 Mullis St. in the parking lot.
  • Guemes Island at Anderson's General Store by the ferry dock.
  • Metro Transit's five-story Central Parking Garage - on the west side of Sixth Avenue South between Royal Brougham Way South and South Atlantic Street includes an electric charging station for Metro employees only.
  • Portland - World Trade Center, SW Salmon Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues. Self-serve Shorepower unit located on-street, courtesy of Portland General Electric. Includes 120v via NEMA 5-20 duplex and 208v via J1772. Pay meter all days during normal metered hours, no time limit for EVs, open 24 hours.
