Wind
It turns out there's plenty of wind energy, five times [1] greater than current global consumption at wind farms current generation of development. Wind energy is a young technology which continues to progress rapidly with far more potential than we might imagine, and it's becoming more competitive falling from 38 U.S. cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) in 1986 to between 2 and 3 cents per kWh today. As the industry has matured, turbines have grown larger, making them far more powerful while at the same time safer for birds and bats.
