A Carbon Neutral Ballard, King County
Hello Seattle Electric Vehicle- ites..
Hope this email finds everyone well. I hope you can make it to this event which will launch a campaign to make King County Carbon Neutral - one community at a time - starting with Ballard.
From the perspective of Seattle Electric Vehicle there are three very important aspects to this campaign. 1. Contributions to offset will most certainly help the Electric car industry by providing seed money to help pull on-the-cusp technology off the shelf faster and create money to spur innovation that will reduce the amount of CO2 entering our atmosphere now..
2. Increase in Awareness of the problem at it's solutions - NetGreen, SEVA, SCL energy conservation/GreenUP program, Flexcar, etc... 3. provide access to a grass roots movement that everyone can get on board with - personal responsibility and balance are at the back bone of being carbon neutral.
Hope that some of you can make it. This is a save the date email - see below Formal invites are being prettied up by graphics people and will be sent out on Friday.
Please let me know if you can make it asap. Pls Don't wait for the formal invite -
We expect quite a press presence and need to make sure we have about 100 people. The more the merrier so please forward this save the date email to your friends and interested acquaintances. I completely welcome and encourage you to bring kids, too.
Your support will further inspire me and I believe you will find this event inspiring too. Plus -- I guarantee it will be quick and to the point.
