2008 SEVA Rally Everett Washington May 10th-11th

This is the first annual Electric Vehicle distance rally and will be held at Interstate Battery (All-Battery) at 727 134th St SW, Everett, WA. The event will be held from 12pm noon on Saturday until 8pm Sunday.

The main routes will be round trip loops north and south on I-5 (55 mph speed minimum). Surface street routes will be available for slower vehicles (non-freeway capable, NEV, etc…). All EVs and hybrids are welcome to attend for display to the public.

Charging will be available starting at noon on Saturday. Please call if you have special needs for charging.

The competition will be to see who can go the farthest total distance on a single charge. This will also give us the opportunity to document REAL WORLD performance data. There will be at least two prizes awarded:

$250 – Farthest distance for a Lead-Acid EV (class 1 vehicle*) $250 – Farthest distance for any battery chemistry EV (class 2 vehicle*)

Other prizes may be added for other categories or types of vehicles as award money is donated. Hybrids may have their own co-event. Motorcycles/scooters may have their own co-event.
