GREAT meeting... Lots of Day-Light. and NEW EVs to show-n-tell I counted 5 or 6 new folks coming to the meeting...

Most notably, our President now has a Road Legal EV. A once 125cc Yamaha scooter, which is now Hawker Powered 48.v Thanks to Dave Cloud. Some finishing work to do. Re-wire the original 12v system, interface the Key switch, and push-button starter button, DC/DC converter, side skirts, Basket Rack, etc. But it is a SWEET ELECTRIC RIDE.

Gathered signed applications for "Gasless on Greenwood" ( 6/24) So far have 8 entries for sure: See EVents_2006_06_24

Steve Lough - Honda Insight Hybrid John Wayland - white zombie Datsun ( if his helpers can get it UP here Ryan Fulcher - Toyota Prius PLUG-IN-HYBRID Dave Cloud - Geo Metro(choped-n-chaneled)Dragster Andy Schwarz - (beautiful) Mazda Miata ELECTRIC Kent Bakke - VW Bug ELECTRIC Don"Father Time" - 2 ELECTRIC Drag.Bikes Paul Gooch - VW Doon Buggy ELECTRIC (B U T - he needs a tow to SEATTLE )

oh..... and Dave Barden's HONDA makes 9... Dave, you have to send me your: Zip cell phone. Make, model, and YEAR of the Honda I can fill in the rest for your APPLICATION...

MC MACHINE !! are ya going to bring something ??

GREEN CAR CO !! Will you be bringing the 3 wheel ELECTRIC ???

Cant think of any where else this summer you could have 8000 to 10,000 people SEE your Products !!

TALK TO ME FOLKS.....

Dave Cloud reported on more Electrathon Adventures in Portland a few weeks ago, and also his trip up to the Vancouver EV EV-ent. Shamefully, he was the Only person from the "Lower 48" which showed up this year... ( sorry VEVA )

Father Time Crabtree talked about his upcoming TRIP to LA, with Rod Wilde. Seems they have been invited to the LA Film Festival showing of "Who Killed the electric car" and "GonePostal" is going to display They need other fellas to go with and share the driving !!!! It's a LONG shag.. just for a party...

"Do us PROUD boys, wear your SEVA T-Shirts !! Don't get too friendly

with the movie-stars. Take lots of pictures"

We had a GOOD turn out for the Seattle Film Festival last Friday night, and again Saturday. And much to our surprise, Chris Paine, the director and Chelsea Sexton- X-GM EV1, and Wally Rippel - Engineer from aerovironment showed up from California to add some STAR POWER to the EV-ent.

Rod and I came up with an idea to throw a PARTY for dignitaries, enviro-types and politicians, after the July 14th Public OPENING of the movie. But I do not think it will happen... Lack of money and time. And the Movie Distribution folks don't have any spare cash for this either... ( Humm... Guess LA has a bigger PULL than Seattle )

If any one out there still would like to participate in "Gasless on Greenwood" with us.... the club is paying the $25. fee, and Dont Forget the After EV-ent BBQ at my house... Its our SEVA Summer Party !!

Any Sparrow's up-n-flying ???

I am receiving more INVITATIONS to EV-ents than we have time or cars to show..

For sure I am going to try and attend the big Street Fair in Tacoma on July 9th. Can any one REMEMBER the name of the fellow near Olympia who converted the mid-size Dodge Pick-Up ?? He lives down there, but I can not remember his NAME.. He could get to Tacoma

That's it for now...
