The SEVA mission is to '''Educate''', '''Demonstrate''', and '''Proliferate''' Electric Vehicles.

It is the sincere hope of the members and officers of the Seattle Electric Vehicle Association to help and aid in the '''EDUCATION''' of the general public as to the desirability and availability of electric transportation in all its forms, from commercially available cars and trucks, to conversions, to Neighborhood Electric Vehicles, to electric boats, bicycles, and motor bikes, and that through our free association we would help every one and any one in their own quest for knowledge and experience in this area.

It is our deep conviction that this can be done through '''DEMONSTRATION''' of these vehicles in static shows and exhibits, rallies, and in all forms of on-road competition and racing.

That through these efforts '''PROLIFERATION''' of these vehicles will come about, thereby lowering our dependence on foreign oil, and reducing the degradation of our environment through pollution.
