Hi all,

My wife and I recently bought an evt4k all electric scooter from SoundSpeedScooters in Fremont.  We are shopping for insurance for it and we have found that it is actually quite a bit higher than we anticipated.  Most places we have called are sub $100 per year for just liability, and just over $200/year for full coverage (including theft).  Naturally since it is a brand new scooter we want the full coverage.  My question for the group is this:

What are you currently paying for scooter insurance, and where are you buying it from?

Thanks!

I'm paying about $40  a year for liability through the company that insures my cars and house. Don't care about theft insurance. Your regular insurance company will probably be the cheapest.
