Due to child and financial needs, I need to sell my electric car project. Try as I might, I just can't get the time and money to finish it. It's a real disappointment for me, but my loss is your gain.

This is a set up for 108 - 120 v system.

Here is where I'm at: I have a 1991 VW Golf 4 door with a very straight body and clean interior. The Warp 9 electric motor is mounted to the original 5 speed tranny with an adapter plate, and its mounted in the car. I have some of the battery racks welded together, but not mounted. I also have the aluminum frame for the trunk batteries cut and ready to weld.

Here is a list of what is included:

1991 VW Golf 4 door. Straight white body and black/grey interior. Good tires and rims, stereo.
Kelly 1000 amp 120v controller

Warp 9 DC motor - this thing is a BEAST.

Kelly DC/DC Converter

Kelly EV Battery Charger 120v

Tycho 1000 amp sealed contactor

35' 0/0 welding wire

12v vacuum pump, sensor switch and gauge + fittings

1000amp breaker

45ea 0/0 cable ends and heavy crimping tool

12v breaker panel, marine grade

amp and voltmeter, installed in A-frame already

Amp splitter ( to feed volt/amp to meters)

Potentiometer

Instruction manuals for electric conversion and wiring diagrams

Sweet adapter plate made from 1"thick aluminum and custom machined, as well as other custom welding that is finished and installed.

+ lots of extras, fittings, bolts, invoices and warranties, aluminum and steel stock and specialty tools and whatever other parts I may be forgetting.

What you will need:

Heavier duty springs post conversion.

Welding work

Batteries - The racks are fitted for Interstate U2200 6v Deep cycle batteries, but these are pretty close dimensionally to many similar batteries. I have 4 now, but I'm not sure what the current condition is.

Know-how. This will take some engineering to fit the racks and put everything together.

Again, I'm really sad to have to sell this project, but I'd really love to see it finished, even if its not by me.
