Hi All, I haven't been around here in quite some time. Been waiting and waiting on the Leaf, and I am finally in the process of ordering! A couple of questions:

I bought my current car in 1997 so I'm a little rusty at this.  Has anyone bought a new car in a while? What's the best deal on a car loan: bank/credit union or dealership? Or some other source? How much do you put down for a down payment? Can you haggle on the price of the Leaf (I sure hope so), or is this a fixed price kind of deal, like the Saturn of yore? Thanks for any help! Smiley

I ordered a Leaf on 1/31 (yay!) but won't see seeing it until July or august.

I'm very happy that as far as I've tried to determine, it's fixed price car. You will be sold on extras, though.

We're on the wrong side of the supply/demand curve to expect much room on the price. Campbell-Nelson & Rairdon have been leading LEAF local  dealerships and historically started the conversation at invoice vs. MSRP. Good luck!
