Finally the human race has awakened to the possibility of a truly clean and green Earth with the aid of alternative energy sources.  With a residential wind turbine installed on your property, you can also contribute to the cause and sleep with a sound conscience at night.

Don’t be fooled by the language.  A residential wind turbine is nothing more than a windmill.  Traditional windmill technology turns kinetic energy into mechanical energy.  A turbine goes further and turns that mechanical energy into electrical energy.

Imagine being able to power up your entire home with something you assembled with your own two hands!  Residential wind turbine kits can be purchased online.  A fair amount of research will have to go into comparative shopping.  You will also have to determine the suitability of your property.

If you live in a favorably windy area, it may even be possible to lower your electricity bill by 80% utilizing the energy generated from your residential wind turbine.   A Skystream 3.7 turbine, for example, may even generate more energy than is required to power your home.  Lucky for you, that your local utility company may purchase such excess energy to supply other homes in the area.  That’s right.  Your utility company may be paying you instead of the other way around!
