New conversion in my future

Just picked up a 1970 Karmann Ghia to convert.  First im taking it to the frame and building it back up replacing parts along the way.  The conversion will probably happen early next spring.
I am also a filmmaker.  I plan to document the entire process.  But that got my brain gears in motion.  Maybe a full length documentary on the world of EV conversions.  Document my own story but also get contributions from others in the community.  Maybe get some EV motor suppliers to chip in as far as on air interviews as well as EV owner/builders that can discuss their own projects.  If any one wants more info please email me @

In the coming weeks i'll be putting together a website(blog like) that will be focused right now on my own project and then progress into something more related to a documentary.  Of course that is if i can garner some interest up in the project.

I have a website put together now.  Really not much info yet.  Im trying to update photo's as i go.  The EV conversion will not happen before next spring so over the Fall and Winter it will mainly be slow updates of body work.  Anyway here is the adress for those that are interested.
