Hello All,

A friend of mine is considering the purchase of an electric
bicycle as quoth below.
Does anyone have any advice concerning the qualities of this bike vs.
any competing models, on care and feeding, local service shops, etc?
Frankly the websites linked make me a little suspicious. For one
thing, they appear to claim a total weight for the bike of 65 pounds
with lead-acid battery pack with a 40 mile range (presumably this is
range as pedal-assist on flat pavement).
     Any input appreciated- thanks!

By the way, here's the electric bike I'm planning to order...

Just have to track down someplace to put the puppy together.  Gregg's
& Recycled Cycles both seem hit or miss on service.  I'm going to call
Wright Brothers Cycle Works (http://www.wrightbrotherscycleworks.com/)
tomorrow.  They are well-reviewed on Yelp - know anything about them?
I might also call Free Range Cycles (http://www.freerangecycles.com/).
