Many years ago I didn't understand why there was always this big debate between environmentalists and businesses. This politician is friendly to business, this other one to environmentalists. Outside of the spotted-owl debate, I just didn't see why these two groups of people, businesses and environmentalists, were as opposite as fire and ice.

As I've gotten older, it is painfully clear that in fact, they are at opposite sides of the spectrum.
