1990 Mazda Miata Electric Vehicle for sale

This is a beautiful red 1990 Mazda Miata Electric Vehicle converted in 2005.  It has a range of 25 - 40 miles depending on driving conditions.  It will do highway speeds, but you will get more distance at lower speeds.  I’m moving and my commute will be out of range.  This would be a perfect car to install some lithium-ion batteries to extend the range.  The paint looks great with minor typical wear and tear.   There is a small rip (not noticeable) in the plastic rear window under the top of the lip.

There is an vacuum pump and an addition tank installed for the power brake system.  There is an addition 1000lbs to the car so the stopping distance will increase a little.  Stock miata is about 2100lbs, my car now weights about 32000lbs.

I have remove the power steering pump, so the steering is no longer powered.
