I live in Kenmore and I'm surrounded by hills, and the main road to Seattle/Bothell has a posted 45mph speed limit.  If I traveled one mile on the 45mph road, I would have access to Seattle.  Otherwise I have to do a long circuitous route over several hills and neighborhoods.

I guess what I'm asking is: Do you ever sneak onto a higher mph road than you are supposed to in order to avoid going a longer route?

Hi Gary....I have a 2010 Zenn and it goes almost 40, and I drive on 40 mph roads all the time.......so unless your batteries are running out of juice, I wouldnt worry about it at all.......just stay in the right lane......:-)  I think we all have to push the limit of usefulness and justify it from time to time........good luck.....
