Arcimoto prototype #5 unveiling

Eugene-based Arcimoto sent me an e-mail about their unveiling event on April 23rd, quoted below:

"Please join Arcimoto as we unveil our product prototype on April 23, 2011 in Eugene, OR.

Code named 'Red 5', our fifth-generation prototype is the culmination of 3 1/2 years of experience designing, engineering, and building the everyday electric. Improvements from previous iterations include an ultra-efficient drive system, race caliber suspension, a lighter yet stronger frame, and a newly designed lightweight body shell.

Oh yes. It’s on.

Probably not going myself, but it's a good excuse for a road trip if you're up for one.  I perused their site recently; very impressed by the team they've got.  I'm a little short on cash or I would jump on it.
