This story about a solar powered car to drive around the world has been on youtube for a long time.
http://www.youtube.com/v/N89ioy_3kbc&rel=0There are about 6000 dollars worth of solar panels on the back of the vehicle and I could build the whole "car" part of the vehicle out of spare car & motorcycle parts for less than 10,000 dollars. Why doesn't Detroit do something like this? I think at least a million people would buy this car if it cost less than 20k and I could build the thing for less than this. The legislation in this country is silly and I'm surprised I don't hear more people talking about this sort of thing. THe government must be spraying mood stabilizers on the general population at night again from spy aircraft...
I must be nuts, right?
