This is very interesting. I hope it does pan out, but the reality is that they are in the same boat as everyone else who makes lithium batteries. The big companies would buy tons of them if they were cheap enough, but the companies have to grow to meet that demand....and growth takes capital...so they can't lowball now to ramp up...

The truth is, the batteries have a HUGE mark up in them already...so I think the price will actually go down no matter what - if gas goes up or down. My hunch anyhow. How far, and how fast, well that's anybodies guess.
