(No, its not mine, and I am not affiliated with the seller in any way; I am just biased  Grin)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___Electric-Vehicle-Toyota-MR2-Conversion-72-Volts_W0QQitemZ200245588455QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20TrucksQQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200245588455&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C65%3A10%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245

Its a fairly low performance 72v conversion; the guy claims 30 miles range and 50mph top speed which seems believable.   Apparently this car also can take a small range extending generator as the seller describes; though anyone at the last meeting will understand the limitations of that.

I thought the MR2 was supposed to be sporty, sexy, and all that? What's up with this 72V conversion? top speed of 45? (By the sounds of it, 50 was not exactly a flat stretch of road...) I could see this for a rabbit or a metro...but they should have at least given a little zip.

For me, the general rule is a converted car should perform at or above most factory specs - namely 0-60 (or 0-45 at least). If not, then it should feel about the same in acceleration up to atleast 35 mph - meaning you can get on it and keep up with or pass an ICE rival of same make & model...up to 35ish...

Now that's just my opinion.

Personally, I don't think all these pictures are helping sell this car. It looks dirty / or something. Just doesn't look that great in the pics, imo.

I know your's Brian is much better  Cheesy
