If you are a PSE customer, don't know if you know it, but they have great tools for analyzing where your electricity and gas dollars are being wasted by your home and what to do about it.  You start by logging onto your account at:

I have used their web site and tools before, and you are spot on. They give you an amazing amount of information, in a short amount of time (like you can see yesterday's activity).

I used it to see just how much electricity was being sucked out by my electric heater I installed in the "Jam Room" of the shop. It was framed, insulated...but no drywall, and more importantly at that time, no door. (a big opening, for an oversized cusom door to make it easy to take equip in & out).

that little heat ran a lot. And it showed up on my bill.

Later I used the same tools to turn off my electric heat and use the fireplace for a few days, to see the difference in the winter...big diff! I went around turning off computers, automatic outdoor lights, etc to see the effect on the electricity usage. Very useful, a little addictive. I whole heartedly recommend if you are on PSE, to at least check it out.

City Light may be also able to provide this.  Have not looked at their stuff in quite a while.
