I saw an article years ago about the Vanadium Redox Flow battery. I have from time to time searched to find updates. Alas no real products available that I could buy or plan with. The latest info I have found The Cellennium (Thailand) Company Limited @  http://vanadiumbattery.com/index.php/welcome/index/
When you check the FAQ sadly they are not up and running to sell a product.

I see this as a possible future storage facility for the off the grid setup. If the EV industry could get the weight and acid spill danger addressed replacing a discharged liquid with a charged liquid seems interesting.
