We had 14 electric cars, an electric motorcycle, a 70kwh trailer full of(Thundersky Lithium) batteries, and an electric bicycle!  ( and nearly 75 folks showed UP  TWO new LEAF’s and Two Tesla’s Plus the Regular Mix of Conversions...)

Jeff Finn gave an update on the status of the $100 fee. It had been passed again by the Senate, as I'm sure you all know. Joe Fitzgibbon introduced an amendment to replace the fee with a $10 additional weight fee. GM made public a letter opposing the fee. Rep. Ross Hunter asked how a VMT (Vehicle Mileage Tax) would be implemented without violating people's privacy, but this would be for next year.

( Turns out the large parking lot has no direct cost to the Organizers, yet we pay for each and every car..  NOT FAIR )

Dave Cloud talked about an electrathon race at Lane Community College where they have a giant solar array and EV chargers. He also has a converted Geo Metro for sale.

Rob Beresford gave an update on the Wikispeed project. Roger Wright has built a small frame to hold an electric motor to get their car electrified.

Jeremy Smithson showed the new Clipper Creek 25A J1772 charger which is small and portable. He also showed a larger wall-mount J1772 version of their charger. See http://www.evsupport.com for more.

Steven Johnsen talked briefly about is ~70kwh battery trailer. He uses a big Manzanita Micro charger to continually charge his truck while driving.

(Steve Lough gave away 3 solar powered electric cars,  AND several dozen tickets to the Green Fest...May 21-22.  However we have  receded our participation for they would not let us have Cars...  Electric Cars on display )

Our monthly meetings are held at the Church of the Nazarene above the Mosaic Community Coffee House.

Join us at our SEVA Meetings

Unless otherwise posted here, or sent out over the SEVA Maillist each Monthly Meeting is Held on the Evening of the Second Tuesday of each Month commencing at 7 p.m. or there about. Meetings are held at the Church of the Nazarene at 44th St. NE, and 3rd Ave NE, just behind Dicks Drive In on 45th. Their fire damage has been repaired, and they welcome us back. We encourage visitors and members to help support this free venue with the purchase of some fine coffee and other refreshments downstairs at the Mosaic Community Coffee House.
