You and anyone else can edit the page later to add more details. The new EVent page you help create can grow more detailed, after the event photos can be added or accounts of how the event went. All of this will be archived for future generations to see what kind of amazing fun we have had, heck go check out some past EVent pages now (Tip: Click on any pages edit link to see how easy they are to create).

If there are more than one event on a given day, then make the == Header == at the top of the page include a short description of both events so that they will both appear in the summary for that day. Then create two or more === Sub Headers === (Notice the 3 = signs instead of 2) for each separate event on that day.

{{EVents}}[[Category:EVents]]
== First EVent & Another EVent Also ==
=== First EVent ===
First Event details and description text goes here.
===Another EVent Also===
Details for the another event also go right here.

You can also add ==== Sub Sub Headers ==== for an event if there is a lot of information for that event, perhaps someone might want to add a ==== Photos ==== section. The simplest way to add photos is to upload them to the site (you may need to ask for an account to do this). Take a look at the Photos page for a list of EVents that had photos added.

Then just list them in a gallery block.

Additional [[Category:]] tags can be added to the top of the page, we do not use many categories at the moment, but they help to organize pages and help visitors find related pages. For example there might be a Tesla Category and any event with a Tesla at it could have the Tesla category.

Port of Chelan County AVI Tech Group meeting

Port of Chelan County AVI

We will be showing and hopfully demonstrating the tenth EAA-PHEV:Prius PHEV converted durring the EAA-PHEV:Inaugural Maker Faire#Post EVent.

'For what its worth . . . We'd love it if you could have the Prius+ here a few days ahead of time - over the weekend. As it happens, the Washington State Apple Blossom Grand Parade occurs on Saturday morning, May 6. We are currently planning to have a small convoy of Advanced Vehicles (bio-diesel, all-electric ATV, and etc.) in the parade. If your vehicle was here, we would be sure to get it as much advance publicity as possible. The parade is a HUGE event for this area and generates a lot of buzz. The only caveat right now is that we were late getting our application into the Grand Parade administrators . . . They'll have to make a special decision about letting us in or not.

  • In addition to the parade, there's a very well attended "Classy Chassis Parade and Car Show" on May 5 and May 6.

Latest Invite from Ron Johnston-Rodriquez on May 5th:

You are invited to attend a special "How To" technical workshop for converting a Toytoa Prius into a plug-in hybrid vehicle on Monday, May 8 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at the Wenatchee Valley College Automotive Technology garage.

The workshop will be conducted by Ryan Fulcher and Steve Lough of the Seattle Electric Vehicle Association. "Lightning" Ryan recently converted his 2006 Prius to a plug-in at a special event in the San Francisco Bay Area, courtesy of the California Cars Initiative (http://www.calcars.org).

This will be a very technical presentation, primarily intended to educate several members of the Advanced Vehicle Initiative (AVI) Tech Group as they embark on the conversion of a Prius that will be used as a demonstration and training vehicle, associated with the AVI's goal of creating a center for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (http://www.plugincenter.org). When the conversion process is completed (within 60-90 days), the vehicle is expected to achieve an average fuel consumption of 100+ miles per gallon.
