 Discussions on our SEVA e-mail and attachments led to Ryan increasing the window from 60k to 120k.

 Mike Willmon (electrabishi@gmail.com ) gave a report on what is going on in EV Racing and the National Electric Drag Racing Association.
-Dave Kois (dkois@yahoo.com ) of  CurrentEVTEC.com, gave us a Show-n-Tell of his adaptors for using standard 220/240 volt plugs into the new J1772 plugs and cords.  His company builds these boxes, and vary in price from $250 to around $600.  One interesting thing.  These plugs we have been using, similar to what is used in an electric stove, are capable of a 50 amp draw.  But if you plug into one of the new public charging stations which is only set at 30 amps, and try and draw 50…  you could trip the circuit breakers.  So if you are using your home built car, with your charger capable of 50 amps, make sure you TURN down the current when plugging into a Public or For Pay Charging Station.  On the other hand…  The VOLT’s, the LEAF’s and other commercial Electric cars already have regulation of current draw.  Not to worry…

		+	Next big item. Short Notice. Odyssey 2010 ! A World Wide celebration of Alternative Fuel and Transportation.
		+	In Seattle it will be held in the Automotive Section of Shoreline Community College. At the meeting last night, only one person raised their had to volunteer to bring an EV to the EV-ent… Now there is a chance to bring Kent’s beautiful VW Beatle Electric. My question to all of you…. Is there any one else who could join us??

		+	Jeff Finn gave us a report on Political matters, urging members to forward the PSRC document recommendations and guidelines to any and all political friends we might be friends with. Both a the Local, County, and State level.

		+	Mark Yormark gave a report on his Electric Corvette project. Complete with a 3D model of the problems of fitting a Siamese DC-AC motor into the Corvette Engine compartment. Quite daunting and expensive to give a Gas Corvette the same POWER with clean US Electrons. But he is not discouraged.

		+	Dr. John Hurd, a new member gave a report on his ideas for a 2-place human powered electric hybrid.
